CatalystPack Studio (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle data within our entire suite of browser extensions and the catalystpack.com website.

2. Local Data Processing

Most CatalystPack tools process data locally on your machine. This includes title analysis, thumbnail testing, and content formatting. This data is handled in real-time within your browser and is not sent to our servers for storage.

API Keys & Credentials: For features requiring your own API keys (e.g., YouTube API, OpenAI, Gemini), these keys are stored locally on your device within the extension’s secure storage. We do not have access to your keys, and they are never transmitted to our servers.

We do not monitor your private browsing history or messages on any website you visit.

3. Cloud Integrations & Third-Party APIs

Local-First Processing: For standard exports (PDF, Word, Markdown, Text), your data is processed 100% locally in your browser. It never touches the internet, and no data is ever sent to our servers.

Transparent Cloud Integrations (e.g., Notion Sync): When you choose to sync directly to third-party cloud apps like Notion, your data is securely routed through the CatalystPack API Hub. This ensures your data is correctly formatted for the destination while keeping your Cloud API tokens hidden and secure.

Zero-Retention Guarantee: Our servers act strictly as a secure pass-through (proxy) to protect your Cloud API tokens. We do not store, read, log, or train AI models on any part of your conversations. The moment your sync is complete, the data vanishes from our server’s memory.

4. Analytics

Privacy-First Metrics: We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand website traffic and improve our services. Unlike traditional analytics tools, this service is privacy-focused and does not use cookies, local storage, or track your personal identity across other websites. It only provides us with aggregated, anonymous usage metrics.

5. Account & Billing

When you create an account to access Pro features, we store minimal information (email and subscription metadata) using Cloudflare D1 (Database) and PayPal (Payment Processor).

Payment transactions are handled securely by PayPal; we do not store your credit card or sensitive financial information on our servers.

6. Data Security

All communication between our tools and our Hub API is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. We employ modern security practices to ensure your account data remains protected.

7. Data Sharing

CatalystPack Studio never sells, rents, or shares your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data is only shared with essential infrastructure providers (Cloudflare, PayPal) to fulfill our service reaching you.
